Privacy policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026
Limit148 ("the app") is published by Ivan Ruiz de la Torre ("I"). This policy explains what data the app collects, why, which third parties are involved and the choices you have. The app needs no account and I never ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or location.
Data stored only on your device
Your progress, scores, stars, streak, leaderboard names, settings and purchase status are stored locally on your device. We do not receive this data.
Anonymous usage analytics (TelemetryDeck)
We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service hosted in the EU, to understand how the game is played: for example which levels are started, completed or abandoned, how long sessions last, and whether an ad was shown. These signals carry the app version, device model, operating system version and language. They do not include your name, your IP address, an advertising identifier or anything that lets us identify you; the user identifier is anonymised with a one-way hash before it leaves your device. We use this data only to improve the game.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app may show full-screen ads between levels, served by Google AdMob. To deliver ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process data from your device, such as the IP address (which indicates approximate location), device and operating system information, advertising-related identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic data. Google acts as an independent controller for this data; see Google's Privacy Policy.
- No cross-app tracking. The app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, does not access the device advertising identifier (IDFA), and requests non-personalised ads.
- Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Where required, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad is requested. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- Removing ads. The one-time "Remove Ads" purchase disables all ads. After it, the app makes no further ad requests.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app only receives confirmation that the purchase exists so it can unlock it and restore it on your other devices.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and is not part of the App Store Kids category. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Retention and your rights
We hold no data that identifies you. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA) you may have rights to access, delete or object to the processing of personal data; for data processed by Google you can exercise them through Google's tools linked above, and you can contact us with any request using the address below.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
